Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of a lash artist’s day? As we prepare for our upcoming 30-day live lash tip session, postponed to December 1st, I thought I’d take this chance to share what inspired me to do it and give you a glimpse into what life as a lash artist is really like!
Why a 30-Day Lash Journey?
The idea for a 30-day series was inspired by my own journey. Over the years, I’ve realized that there’s so much more to being a lash artist than just mastering the technical skills. It’s about the little things—the small rituals, the daily insights, the creative process, and, of course, the dedication to helping clients feel their absolute best. December is all about sharing this lifestyle with you, one day at a time.

A Day in the Life of a Lash Artist

My day starts with preparing my cozy studio. For me, the studio ambiance is everything! Soft lighting, relaxing music, and a clean, welcoming space all help create the perfect environment for clients. Whether it’s a classic lash set or a custom hybrid style, each client gets a tailored experience.
- The Art of Lash Selection
Choosing the right style is like creating a custom masterpiece. I consider each client’s eye shape, lifestyle, and preferences. My job is to enhance natural beauty subtly and elegantly, which sometimes means selecting a softer curl or going for a classic set that elevates without overpowering.
- Client Time: Creating Connections
One of the most rewarding parts of being a lash artist is building connections with my clients. It’s not just about lashes; it’s about giving people a chance to feel good, relaxed, and beautiful. Each appointment is a time for them to unwind, and knowing I contribute to that relaxation makes my work fulfilling.
- Behind-the-Scenes Business
After the appointments, there’s still plenty to do! From managing bookings and answering inquiries to preparing for the next day, the business side keeps me busy. But even as I handle logistics, I stay connected with my passion for the art of lashing.
